Copy From Left to Right

Developing good habits can save you time and avoid errors. This is true in life and in your use of computer.

You can be much more efficient and accurate by establishing good procedures for yourself.

One I use is this.

Whenever I need to copy information from one place to another, I put the window I am copying from on the left side of my
monitor. I put the window I am copying to on the right side of my monitor.

I take a lot of photos and video. I copy them from my SD card to an external hard drive. After I copy them I erase them from my SD card.

This procedure helps me to keep everything straight so I do not inadvertantly erase the files from the wrong place.
