How to Install LabTec Webcam Pro Windows 7
By Internet Handholding @ 8:51 PM :: 2014 Views :: 1 Comments :: Article Rating :: Windows

My brother-in-law gave me a Labtec Webcam Pro. I have a Windows 7 64-bit computer. Here is how I installed it.

1. Download the Labtec Webcam Pro driver for Vista-64 bit systems from here
http://www.labtec.com/index.cfm/service/listing/EUR/EN,crid=68,crid2=1764

2. Run the exe file you downloaded to unpack the drivers. I got an error message that the driver was not for my system, but that does not appear correct.

3. Locate the driver on your computer. It should be here.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Labtec\WebCamWebInstall\Drivers\x64\WIM64

4. If you are like me and already plugged in the Labtec Webcam Pro, then you probably have an unknown device. Go to your Windows Start menu and find Devices and Printers. Right click and select Properties. Click Hardware tab and click Properties there. Click Drive and Update Driver. Find the driver folder on your computer to install.

5. If you did not plug in your Labtec Webcam Pro, I gues you can run this program, but I have not tried it.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Labtec\WebCamWebInstall\Drivers\x64\Setup\Setup.exe
