Google Local Places Listing Multiple Service Areas
By Internet Handholding @ 11:24 AM :: 560 Views :: 0 Comments :: Article Rating :: Search Engines

You should list your business on Google Local Places, so your business is found in searches that include cities that you service.

For example, if you have a pool service in Boca Raton, you would want your business to show in the Google listings for pool services in Boca Raton.

To add your business to Google Local Places, go here.

www.google.com/local/add

If your business services multiple cities, you will need to specify the areas your business services. That way if someone searches for a pool service in a nearby city that you also service, like Delray Beach, your business will be displayed then too.

After adding your business to Google Local Places, edit your business listing. Look for a link that says "Edit" and click that.

Under Service Areas and Location Settings click "Yes, this business serves customers at their locations".

Below that, you should see a field that sasy "List of areas served" in which you can enter each city name with a state or a zip code that you service.

Alternatively, you can specify the distance from your primary location, such as 20 miles.
