Add Google Analytics to Blogger and Blogger Real Time Stats
By Internet Handholding @ 9:21 AM :: 967 Views :: 0 Comments :: Article Rating :: Blogging

To get statistics for your blogger blog, logon to blogger.com and click the Stats link to the far right of your blog.

Do not know why not, but blogger stats do not appear to be integrated with Google.com/Analytics.

If you have websites, it is nice to see all your analytics in one place, plus Google Analytics has more information.

To add Google Analytics to your blog

  1. Go to google.com/analytics, login with your account, add a new profile and get your analytics javascript code (presuming you know how to do this).
  2. Go back to blogger.com, go into Design for your blog.
  3. If you do not have an html gadget at the bottom of your page, add one.
  4. Edit that html gadget at the bottom of your page.
  5. Click the link in the upper right of the gadget that says: Edit Html
  6. Paste the google analytics code into the bottom of that gadget.

That is it. Save the gadget and the changes to your page.
