Do not believe you can retirieve your password. You should be able to reset your modem to the factory defaults and then you can use the default password. However, reset your modem with caution.
First you should try the default password, because you may not have changed it. You can find the default password for the Netopia 3000 (Motorola) DSL modem here.
If that does not work, you will need to reset the modem back to the factory settings. When you reset your modem, you will lose any custom settings in the modem, so you may have a problem getting connected, especially since this is a DSL modem.
DSL has a number of custom settings that are specific to your account for the phone company that you are using. You should not reset your modem until you make sure you have the correct settings.
You may want to contact the phone company or whoever installed your modem before resetting it.
To reset your modem to the factory defaults, you press the reset button. The reset button should be on the back of the modem. Look for a small hole, inside of which should be the tiny reset button. You will need to use the end of a paper clip or something else small and pointy to press the button.
