Are you using an Ftp program to update files on websites?

They are useful and I use them frequently, but another convenient way to update online folders is using Windows network places.

In the address bar of any Windows on Internet Explorer window, type ftp:// followed by your website, like:

ftp://www.computergainesville.com

The first time, Windows will prompt you for your username and password. You will then have opened another Windows folder that works like any of your other Windows folders, mostly.
