There is a phishing scam going on where someone steals a Yahoo mail password and posts a message to a group.

The message asks for help, like this.

How are you doing and how is work?i am sorry i didn't inform you because i don't want anybody to know about this and i believe you will understand me much better because right now am in a serious problem, I came over here to Wales,United Kingdom for a program, unfortunately,i got mugged at the park of the hotel where i stayed,all cash, cell phones and credit card were stolen from but luckily for me i still have my passports with me.

Have been to the Embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and my flight leaves tomorrow but am having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let me leave until i settle the bills.i will really need your financial assistance..Please, Let me know if you can help me out?

You can try calling Yahoo to get your email account back at 408-349-1572.

If you still have your email account, change your password.
