Windows Live Mesh is going away and being rolled into Windows Live Sync and Sky Drive.

The new Online Live Sync will only support 2 gigabytes instead of 5 GB. If you follow my suggestions for dividing your data into Current, Archive and Media, you should be able to keep your Current data under 2 gigabytes and be able to store it online.

The Peer to Peer Live Sync supports an essentially unlimited amount of data. This means you can synchronize as much data as you want between two of your computers.

I am still skeptical about synchronizing hundreds of gigabytes or terabytes of media files over the Internet, but you should be safe with your other data.
